Moris Media is looking for a self-motivated team player with outstanding business skills who can play a key role as the next director of sales and marketing for our company. This dynamic leader will be in charge of the voice of our brand, and the director will be responsible for managing the business and marketing team. Sales and Marketing Director duties will include motivating our sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.

This position is responsible for planning and directing the marketing and sales policies, objectives, and initiatives of an organization. Ensures that the department's employees, sales plan, and marketing strategies are organized in order to achieve sales and brand goals. A Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for leading broad departmental initiatives to develop goals and develop new strategies to achieve those goals. Additionally, the Sales and Marketing Director is usually responsible for reporting to the top management. Within a broader departmental function, the Sales and Marketing Director manages a departmental sub-function. Develops budgets, policies, and procedures to support the functional infrastructure, and develop functional strategies and specific objectives. It is generally required to have five or more years of managerial experience in order to become a Sales and Marketing Director. Knowledge of the managed sub-function as well as the overall department.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leading and motivating staff to improve customer service with clients.
  • Designing and implementing strategic plans to reach sales targets.
  • Cultivating lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
  • Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports.
  • Measure ROI and KPIs and prepare a budget
  • Motivate the digital marketing team to achieve goals
  • Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology developments
  • Working with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Estimating sales volume and profit for current and new products.
  • Establishing a sales training program to train new employees.
  • Meeting with sales managers to assess company performance.
  • Liaise with Product, Design,and Sales directors to increase client satisfaction through cohesive strategies

  • MBA/Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
